OnePlus

OnePlus

Covers OnePlus 5T and later (the point where Google's table starts listing OnePlus) through current numbered and Nord models on OxygenOS.

Developer options

  1. Settings > About phone.
  2. Tap Build number seven times.
  3. Developer options appears under Settings > System (wording varies by OxygenOS version).

Sources: developer.android.com/studio/debug/dev-options (OnePlus 5T and later: Settings > About phone > Build number); service.oneplus.com support article op5091, which states the same sequence for a device connection procedure.

USB debugging

  1. Settings > System > Developer options (or Settings > Developer options).
  2. Turn on USB debugging.
  3. OnePlus's own article notes the phone may ask for the device password when USB debugging is enabled on a protected device. That is normal.

Vendor extras

None documented by OnePlus beyond the password prompt above.

Windows USB driver

No official OnePlus USB driver download page was found on 2026-10-12.

Escalation path, in order:

  1. Let Windows Update try first.
  2. Check OnePlus support for a driver or desktop-sync package for your model.
  3. If the phone runs Android 11 or newer, use wireless ADB instead: it removes the USB driver from the equation entirely (see ../manual/04-wireless-adb.md).

Do not install driver bundles from download aggregators. The Google USB driver is not listed here on purpose: Google documents it for Google devices and directs other devices to their manufacturers (developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb, developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb).
